One year ago, on June 19th, our lives changed forever.
Our beloved sister, Desrie, left this world, leaving behind a space that can never truly be filled. It feels like yesterday that we laughed together, shared precious memories, and enjoyed the blessing of having her in our lives. Yet somehow, an entire year has passed.
Not a day goes by that we do not think of her. Her smile, her voice, her kindness, and the love she gave so freely remain alive in our hearts. Though her physical presence is gone, her spirit continues to live through the memories we cherish and the love that still binds our family together.
Grief has taught us that love does not end when someone leaves this earth. Love continues. Love remembers. Love waits.
Today, we honor Desrie’s life, her legacy, and the beautiful person she was. We miss her beyond words, but we are grateful for every moment God allowed us to share with her.
